About Us
House of Siam on Wheels is the labor of love of Nuttawee Taesevigen who is no stranger to fine Thai culinary arts. When she was young, Nuttawee always loved to help her great grandmother in the kitchen and little by little learned the secrets of cooking -- that were only taught to courtiers in the Royal Palace.
Growning up, Nuttawee followed her passion and love for cooking and enrolled in renowned culinary schools in Thailand and attended internship programs at internationally acclaimed institutions such as the Oriental Hotel Culinary Program.
In 1993, Nuttawee started House of Siam Thai Restuaurant in San Jose, California and since then the restaurant has received several awards including being one of the 100 The Best Thai Restaurants in the U.S.A. in 2007.
After almost two decades, Nuttawee decided to take her gourmet cooking to the world of street food of San Francisco Bay Area.
